Hire one of the most unique conference venues in Bristol at Bristol Zoo! Whatever your event, the historic Clifton Pavilion at Bristol Zoo offers a completely unique space. With five rooms over two floors it can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people. This includes a purpose built, tiered lecture theatre, fully equipped with a modern audio-visual system.

The Clifton Suite is elegant light and airy - the perfect place for your meeting. The room has a high vaulted ceiling emphasised by sparkling chandeliers and high arched windows with doors that open out on to a beautiful balcony overlooking the Nectar Garden and Flamingos.

The Lecture Theatre is adjacent to the Clifton Suite and is the perfect venue for important presentations and seminars. With tiered seating for 119 people, the Lecture Theatre boasts state of the art equipment including a built in LCD projector, DVD/CD/VHS player, PC, 3m x 4m screen, impressive sound system with mics. 

The Garden Room is a very versatile space with doors that open out on to the terrace to allow direct access into the Zoo grounds. The room also has a unique Zoo themed floor that is perfect for dancing

The Council Room has a fixed boardroom table and is an attractive room with views overlooking the Zoo grounds and flamingos. It is great for meetings, formal dinners or as a breakout room.

The Members Room is adjacent to the Garden Room and is ideal when used for seminars and meetings. From a fun casino to a small boardroom there are endless uses for this room.

Unique activities at Bristol zoo Gardens

Zooropia: Our unique high ropes course gives visitors of all ages and abilities a fantastic opportunity to swing alongside some of our most popular inhabitants – gibbons, gorillas and lemurs.

Animal Houses: A memorable way to enjoy your reception drinks. Available to hire are the Aquarium, Reptile House, Monkey Jungle, Butterfly Forest, Bug World and the Forest of birds – including ‘Feed the lorikeets’

Animal Encounters: This activity gets your staff ‘up close and personal’ with some of our more tame (and interesting) species at the Zoo. If you are having your event in the Clifton Pavilion we can arrange for the animals to come to you!

Zoo Quiz – Test your knowledge and see who can finish first.

We source the finest ingredients, locally where possible and ensure our food is ethical, sustainable and seasonal. This includes Marine Stewardship Council approved fish, fairly traded organic coffee, British Farm assured meat, freshly baked breads and cakes to name just a few.
