Life membership terms and conditions

Life membership may be taken out at any time and will be valid for the rest of the members life. Please allow 21 days for receipt of your membership pack.

Life members must notify Bristol Zoo on any changes to your address or personal circumstances

Joint memberships can only be purchased for adults living at the same address.

The household will receive a subcription to ‘The Zoo’ magazine and will receive one set of half price tickets to share each year.

Children can be added onto a single or joint membership, which costs £450 per child. This can only be for children living at the same address.

Members receive one membership card per person and will have a photo taken in the Zoo that will be incorporated into the card.

No entry can be allowed without a valid card. If you forget your card we cannot guarantee entry to the Zoo.

Memberships are not transferable.

A replacement fee of £5 will be charged for each lost card. Other membership items cannot be replaced.

Members gain free entry to Belfast Zoo, Colchester Zoo, Chester Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo, Marwell Zoological Park (one entry per year) and Woburn Safari Park (Woburn members cannot gain entry to Bristol Zoo with a Woburn toddlers pass) as part of a reciprocal agreement. Please contact individual zoos / safari parks for terms and conditions of this arrangement before visiting. A valid membership card and welcome letter with proof of expiry date is required upon entry.

Membership benefits may be subject to change at any time. No refunds can be made.

Entry is subject to availability and normal opening hours. Bristol Zoo Gardens reserves the right to refuse admission.

Zoo parking, when available, costs £1. If the parking fees increase during your membership you will still receive a members discount compared with the day visitor charge.

Half price tickets can be used as one whole ticket for an adult paying the full adult price, or half a ticket for a child aged 3 to 14 years inclusive.

Existing annual members with at least two full years of continuous membership receive a 10% discount when upgrading to life membership at renewal. Existing members can only upgrade to life membership when their annual membership is due for renewal.
