One of the later exhibits to come on line, the Nepal Grasslands Exhibit will represent the Terai-Duar savannah area of Nepal, and highlight the human wildlife conflict of over-grazing, damage to crops and attacks on humans by animals, and deforestation.
Using ‘invisible’ barriers and local landscaping to enhance the sense of immersion, visitors will travel an anti-clockwise loop to experience a number of animals with close proximity across a terraced landscape.

Arriving at the ranger station, located centrally in the exhibit, visitor will have a fenceless view of the Bengal tiger paddock, leading to a tiger tunnel right into the paddock itself.
