If you’re clear about what you want from your education visit, just go ahead and book it online. If you’d like to discuss your visit, call us on 0117 9747369.
Once you’ve made a provisional booking, you can arrange your free teacher visit.
We have health and safety guidance to help you complete your risk assessment. We can also provide information on your arrival at the zoo, where to eat your lunch, and lockers for storing lunchboxes and bags.
You will find the answers to all these queries in the FAQ's document on the right.
We offer money-off vouchers for return visits, to all students and teachers who attend our education sessions.
Booking an education visit
Request a visit with an education session
You can request education sessions well in advance and we recommend four hours for your visit. If you’d like to visit on a particular day (especially in June or July), or are bringing a group of 100 or more, then contact us as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
Before you fill out the request form you will need to have the following pieces of information:
Preferred date of your visit (and alternative dates if possible) and approximate time of arrival and departure. If you want to make bookings on more than one date, please complete another form.
Topic of your session.
Number of children and adults attending.
Full school contact details.
Description of any special needs.
Book a visit without an education session
Entrance fees must be paid on the day of the visit, or the school can be invoiced provided you bring proof of school identification.
Education sessions need to be paid for in advance.
