Keeper for the day

Buy the ultimate present for an animal lover and treat them to a ‘keeper for the day’ experience package? The ‘Keeper for the Day’ scheme is designed to give people a real understanding of the work involved in looking after animals at our Zoo. It includes activities such as feeding, cleaning enclosures and animal enrichment with a variety of our animals.

Cost - £225  and includes Zoo keeper fleece, a complimentary guest ticket and a guide book.

Due to the hands-on nature of this experience, participants of 'Keeper for the Day' must be physically fit and suffering no severe health problems. For insurance purposes, the scheme is only available to those aged sixteen years and over and unfortunately cannot accommodate wheelchair users in this instance due to access difficulties behind the scenes.
