Help us to look after Kukena and Komale by becoming an animal adopter

Due to the current refurbishment of our gorilla house we are experiencing some downtime with our webcams. They will be back online as soon as possible. We are sorry for any disappointment caused.
Enjoy seeing our resident gorilla family wherever you are, and see if you can spot our new baby gorilla live on our webcams.
We have two cameras, one overlooking Gorilla Island and one inside the gorilla house, so you can watch our gorilla family play, sleep and feed at any time, night or day. Gorilla Island is home to seven western lowland gorillas; Jock, Salome, Romina, Kera, Namoki and Komale and a new baby gorilla!
For more information about our gorillas click through to the Gorilla Island page. In 2011, ITV West visited a primate conservation project in Cameroon that Bristol Zoo helps to support, to find out what is being done to conserve apes in the wild, watch the series of programmes here.
Please note that the gorilla house is currently closed whilst a major refurbishment is taking place click here to find out more. The gorillas can still be viewed on gorilla island during the day and on our webcams by clicking here.
